Behind Lumo is a person

Lumo is not a big company but a small shop from Austria. I built it because I was looking for a gift that actually looked like the person receiving it — and could not find one.

Every order passes my desk: I look at your artwork myself before it is printed and only release it if I would give it away too. If something is not right, just write to me — you will get an answer from me, not from a form.

Frequently asked questions

What customers usually want to know before their first order.

  • Which photo works best?

    A sharp image where the face is clearly visible and well lit — ideally from the front and not too far away. Sunglasses, harsh shadows and very small faces in the background make it hard for the AI. Group photos work too; the fewer people, the better the result.

  • What does the preview cost?

    Nothing. No account, no payment details, no obligation — you only pay when you order a product. Because every preview costs computing time at our AI provider, the number of previews per day is limited; it is easily enough to work through all the styles. Once you reach it, the shop tells you when you can continue.

  • What if I do not like the result?

    Then simply generate it again, pick another style or another photo. We only print the artwork you selected yourself and put in the cart — there is no surprise between preview and print.

  • How long does delivery take?

    Expect 5 to 10 working days. That covers three steps: the personal check of your artwork, production — every product is printed specifically for you — and shipping.
